    Thanks to your continued support, 2008 promises to be an exciting year As you may know, the Palmetto Opera is embarking on its first season with an exciting schedule of performances.

    At a glance, our first season will include Opera on the Nile, a unique program of arias and operas set in Egypt, being performed at the Columbia Museum of Art in February 2008.

    In April, we're producing Dance to the Opera in a performance at Columbia's Ballroom Company. Join us in visiting the aristocratic world of the masked ball, the fun of peasant dance, and pure escapism of operatic ballet, with a thrilling program of arias, duets, and dance music from the world of opera.

    And finally in March 2009, we are presenting Donizetti's delightful period comedy, Don Pasquale, at Eau Claire High School's new auditorium.
